drivetrain
power pro cranks: every one says these crancks round off ded quick but mine havn't proball y because i have looked after them and am not taking them on and off.the problem i had was the bolts that hold the granny ring into place were ripped out with the threads causing my chainring to snap in half.

wheels tyres hubs etc..
mavic d521: very good rim especially good for trials due to its high strenght low weight.
irc elgato: extreamly grippy tire very light, but it pinches all the time. if you land heavy forget it cos its really thin sidewalls. i now run mine on the front because its very light. specialised evil twin tyre: this without a doubt is one of the strongest tyres around put it doesnt come for free since it weights quite a bit
its 2.4 inches wide and make sure you get it in hard compound since soft wears down very quickly
shimano xt hubs: crap poo aload of rubish my one died eventually the freehub went twice i snapped all the inside

brakes
xt rear brake: pretty powerful brake up until you start backwheeling stuff its just not powerful enought not compared to the likes of maguras.
shimano deore: this brake is not very powerful so getting 1 for the rear is not recomended. i run one on the front because it has a really nice feel to it and there is allmost no flex.
shimano lx levers: these are allright levers for the price there light and strong but the only problem being the lever blade stabbs the rest of your fingers if you like alot off pull forget them. but apart from that not bad

exellent
